I was about to freak, man! But this thread brings some needed humor into this previous election and its aftermath!

Thanks for the laugh,
Kiwi

Edit: Zak, the initial impression is funny, but I don't thisnk the swastika should be under the eagle...

Hey Zak:

What's the matter? You only like Americans when they're saving your bacon. I bet your anscestors were'nt complaining in 1917 when the US entered the first War to end all Wars, and then the second time around as well. This is a light-hearted thread and you have to bring that garbage into it.

Zak, while I am no fan of Bush/Chenny, I find the picture link to your post very offensive. Besides, isn't the display of Nazi symbols illegal in France?
The picture of GWB ordering a draft beer is very strange. He quit drinking a number of years ago (15 +?) due to the realization that he had a drinking problem and interfered with his life.
There is a de facto draft right now as to the USA military. There are various orders to hold and prevent the departure, retirement and manditory extension of terms of enlistment, stop orders, that are keeping men and women in the military. There may have to be a return to the drafting of people for military service as many will shy away from volunteering due to the problems with the war in Iraq and that one will not be able to get out by a fixed time and people are much more reluctant to give their life for their country in a disputed policy (like Vietnam War evolved into)
