Personally, I think that any election related signs whether Bush, Kerry or a local politician should be taken down this week. It's always annoying to see people still have election signs on their lawns at Thanksgiving time!

I'll keep my W '04 sticker on my ride for a bit, then probably take it down and hang it in the garage or put it on my flight kit....

However, I would like a "I Support President Bush" bumper sticker now.

Jan 20, 2005 - Inauguration Day. If the liberals can complain about the 2000 election for 4 years, why shouldn't I be able to gloat for 2 months? It only seems fair.

I took all my signs down this morning.

The were of course for Kerry, Truran, Coreveau and "no" on Prop 2, all losers, but I think homeowners should be repectful and remove them right away.

Even if Kerry had won, I would have taken mine down. They just don't need to be up.

Yard signs are supposed to be down 30 days after the elections, but I think mine is coming in this weekend to go on the wall with the license tags and other yard signs.

The sticker on the car will probably stay on until the certification of the vote in the House of Representatives.

Just wait until the moving van pulls up at your liberal neighbor's house...

or..

When they go to have a garage sale, just ask them if they can sell your Bush signs for you...

Kerry signs should come down ASAP, Bush signs should come down not long after. Bumperstickers and such are alittle different, but shouldn't be left on much past January I don't think.

I believe TX law says all signs must be down or taken in 15 days after the election.

Bumper stickers are another story.

In Tampa, a radio station had a contest, after the '00 election, that gave a big prize to whom ever brought in the most old signs. It was amazing how fast all of 'em went away.

About two years ago they where renovating the local REI store here in Anchorage.

It is in the building that many many moons ago held the local Montgomery Wards for years.

Anyway they where removing the facing and found a 12 foot long Nixon-Lodge campaign sign.

I'll see if any the historians here can figure out what election that was  Laugh out loud
