Hilary v. Guliani would be awesome, if you're a political junkie.
Like it or not, Clinton is still respected. Despite everything, you can't deny that if he had run again in 2000, he would have won. Hilary will ride on that.
Then again, Guliani will benefit from September 11th - by 2008 he'll have saint-like status when people think back and remember what he did.
The vote was still very split this time around, however it still gave Republicans firm control. Hence I'm sure there's a very strong urge for them to really 'go for it', pushing through bills and laws they could only dream of. The problem is that, without opposition, come 2008 they have moved so far to the right, and pissed off so many people, that Guliani would have no chance when associated with them.
