The Clinton Library is scheduled to open on November 18. Is there anyone out there making any plans to visit LIT for that or any other reasons? If any of you do fly in, stop by and see me. I'd like to meet some more A.netters. Just stop by the NWA ticket counter and ask for me!

Why couldn't it be in someplace worth traveling to instead of Little Rock, AR. Actually, the building is supposed to be of an excellent design and it is hoped to be a major tourist attraction for the area. I wonder how it will treat his negative history. I have been to the John F. Kennedy Library near Boston, and it completely ignores his bimbo problems, although otherwise it is good.

I usually visit the Ozarks/Buffalo National River (which is one of the most beautiful natural areas in middle America, very similar to southern Appalachia) area every year for a few days of hiking and camping. I'll probably head down to Little Rock to see it, but I'll drive unfortunately.

I won't come for the opening, but I do plan to eventually go visit it. The building seems stunning (Time did an article a couple weeks ago), though I have heard people criticize it as the worlds biggest double wide.

Okay, I guess I'm going to have to step in and defend my old hometown and the first city I really settled down in. It's been a long time since I've been there but I remember Little Rock being a pretty nice place and I've heard that things have only gotten better since. Too bad I can't be there to see it take a step forward with the new library opening. I'd love to go back down to Little Rock someday to see how things have been...as well as for some BBQ!

President Clinton LIbrary....anyone Coming To LIT?
Please use the full airport code: KLIT
I like KLIT as I'm sure Bill Clinton does. I bet he gets down there as often as he can. I can just about hear him say "I haven't been down to KLIT for ages".
I heard that his library will have 2 wings consising of a small personal library and a larger general library. The library major and the library minor. They couldn't find a parcel large enough for both wings so they are building them on 2 plots on either side of the airport. So thats right...the library major, and library minor on either side of KLIT.

Nice to see my home being held in such high regard!
GulfStreamGuy, I may stop by and say hi next time I'm out there. I'm anxious to see the Frontier (Horizon) liveries out there. I was glad to see the upper obeservation deck is still open above the security check point!
When you say ticket counter, I assume you mean at the front of the terminal and not at the gate, correct?
