There's been a lot of news this week with the election and Arafat and all, but this just seems more important.

Steve Spurrier will not be returning to coach the Gators.

Even money says he goes to UNC or USC (Carolina schools). If Holtz wants to stay as USC he probably will, but both schools need someone like Spurrier.

I thought he was president of "Hair Club of America".

You're only as good as your last departure.

Might as well of kept Ron Zook till his contract ends if they weren't gonna be able to get Spurrier. Waste of all that $$$$. Wasn't me paying though.

FlyVirgin-

I agree, we should have at least not officially fired Zook until the end of the year. (Maybe that would have given some incentive for the FL/GA game). I'm sad to see Spurrier won't be coming back, I just hope we make a better selection this time.....

Now it should be "IFLYDCA"

Good! One less whiner to deal with. Spurrier is worse than Baby Bowden. Rumors have been swirling around the Miami Area that the Dolphins are looking into firing Dave Wandsteadt(sp) and hiring Spurrier. Doesent matter to me though, The Dolphins are the Gators suck!

Spurula will return to suck the life out of some conference somewhere. Can anyone say ACC errr Big East. If he goes to either of the Carolina teams I appologize to those of you that I like in either of thoses states and appologize now because i will make fun of you so much and very often when Visor Boy/Visormort retuns to the sidelines. Deep as my hatred for him runs.

I think he'll be golfing the rest of his days. Apparently he enjoys that a lot.
