I have been thinking I would like to go for a snowboarding trip to the Northern Hemisphere early next year and wondered what the best place you have all been too. At the moment Utah is one of those places I would like to go, as they offer a ski Utah passport. Ski or board at 7 different resorts on the one pass.

I snowboarded the last 2 years in Australia and would like to try some better snow. The Australian resorts get between 2 - 3 metres of snow fall a year compared to 12 metres in Utah.

Lenzerheide/Valbella and Flims-Laax in the Swiss Alps are my favourite ski resorts!  Big thumbs up

Best is relative...Best service...Best prices? If you want extreme skiing then the best I have ever seen is Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Crested Butte in Colorado is supposed to be good for that too. It's a great town (small and lots of character).
