Hello Christa
I have visited Cardiff and I have to say that it is far more better than London.
I have two friends studying there one in UWIC and one in the University of Cardiff and they are both delighted being there. What I liked most is that this particular city has hills and it is not just an other typical flat British city.
Also the female population is far more pretier than London's.
Looking forward to revisiting your city,
Vasilis

BTW, The airport.. well.. Shame you couldn't see it.. although it is not the biggest there is a big variety of aircraft that come here..

my first (and so far only) trip to cardiff was earlier this year for cardiff pride, and i was very impressed, the people were friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and it deffinately wasnt an unsightly place to be in.
i didnt see much of the city, hopefully next time i shall see a little more.

Chris - It probably is cleaner than Bristol, some of the central parts (particularly around the Avon and Somerset constabulary) are horrible, It doesn't feel too much different to me except its a coastal city, and I do like it. I'm sure it feels like the capital of Wales to you, but as a visitor I just feel like its another British city. If you don't like that or you feel offended, thats your problem!

Thats what I was hinting at . Some of our members feel that CO are on the verge of starting transatlantic services to CWL. There's been no buzz about it in the business, its all false hope and wishful thinking .

Did I detect a hint of bitterness? . It was never going to happen, I can't say how well the BRS-JFK service will do but I wasn't a big fan of it anyway, I don't care if it flops.

Cardiff sucks, smells like old shoes, pigeons crap on you as soon as you get off the bus (or plane/train/car etc) and the people....dont get me started on them! Its a perverts paradise!!
Now a little further on down the coast is a respectable haven called Swansea, and what a difference! Our seagulls have more manners than Cardiffians!! People know how to wash (and iron) their clothes etc etc.

I have visited Cardiff twice; both times to see Finland at the Millennium Stadium - and we've never lost! People in Wales are really nice, and from what I've seen Cardiff is a great, compact city! The a/p is also big-time convenient compared to the London airports. Yeah, and the stadium is just superb!
