I know I know, this has been discussed a gergillion times but the millionare who has been running all of the 9/11 conspiracy ads is on Anderson Cooper 360 right now. He says he organized a poll saying that 66% of New Yorkers want the 9/11 investigation to be re-opened.
As I said I know this is the trillinoth thread on this matter but how much effect do you believe this poll will have on the investigation.

How many of the 66% have actually read the 9/11 report? I'm reading it now (about halfway through) and it is an eye-opener. I'm sure if any of them actually read it, it would shut them up. The doubts and conspiracy theories are gleefully promoted by attention whores and journalists (same thing, really) who count on people being too lazy to read things in detail, in a form longer than a 500-word article.
There are tons of interesting theories. Among them, that a 757 did not hit the pentagon. Seems unlikely, but this video makes the case....very, very, eeriely well...
If it was a commuter jet that crashed into the Pentagon, which one is it? No other jets were reported missing that day. And what happened to the 757 and its 80 or 90 passengers that took off that day on AA 77? It didn't arrive at its destination, did it? Don't you think a few of the people aboard might have called up a few loved ones after a few years to say, "Hey, I'm still alive"? What's next - that the 757 and its passengers were abducted by aliens?
Another point to make is the fact that eyewitnesses are notoriously unreliable. If you recall on 9/11, the first reports were that of a small plane hitting the WTC, like a Cessna. Then it became a little bit bigger, I remember one talking head on CNN talking about maybe a Beech 1900 or similar. Then came the first videos of the plane hitting the tower, and a so-called "expert" said that it was either a 737 or A320.

Look at the famous 9/11 thread here on a.net. There were discussions whether it was a B737 or A320 family plane or even smaller until the flight numbers came out and then people realized both planes were B767s.
