Well here's my trip report from the hospital haha. I had my monsterous spleen removed. I have a nice 10''-12'' cut on my side, with about 40 staples to hold it shut. They told me it was about as long as a football and weighed 1 1/2 pounds. So now I'll be home for awhile recovering.

Dazed767, proceed to bed and hold short of runway Life. When departing, caution wake turbulence from the Major Abdominal two weeks ahead. Airliners.net traffic waits for your departure to Normal Heading.

You have my prayers for a speedy recovery.

I am pleased to report you have given birth to a healthy(?) 1 1/2 pound spleen... Hope the birth wasn't too painful.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Charles

Hi Avion,
The spleen is an organ that stores blood.
I believe the German word is Milz.

Thanks all. With my girlfriend on one side of me, and the pain killers on the other, I should be just fine!
