Liberals And Europe, Please Sit Down.

Thats right, I said it and it had to be said.

Liberals: The election is OVER and the country has spoken. Everyone that wanted to cast their ballot and when it was all said and done, your side's candidated and viewpoints were not wanted and are not wanted by the majority of Americans. Most American's DO NOT think like you, DO NOT want what you want. While you may not like or agree with that statement, it is the truth and 4 years from now you have the opportunity to put forward a better vision. Talk to you then.

Europe: The election is OVER and OUR country has spoken. What you need to understand is that your opinion on who runs our country isn't really necessary. You don't live here, work here and more importantly VOTE here. We asked for your help in Iraq and you didn't want it. Thats fine, those that did go into Iraq are continuing the fight against terrorism. Your opinion was valued, it was talked about and in the end we had a difference of opinions. Henceforth your input on the current matters are not really warranted. I respect your opinion, I respect your country please do the same.

Hon, you are like so 10 days late with your little boring sermon.

The election is over.

Now, get off your soap box.

And who the #$%#$ are you?

Jesus H. Christ? Moses? The Buddha?

The last time I checked the First Amendment was still enforceable, so we'll be making enough noise to ensure that our taxes begin to stay where they are - in Blue State Country. Not moving to your lazy tax payer's money sucking, abortion loving, divorce seeking, cheeto eating Bush country.

So, basically, you`re telling everyone to sit down and shut up? And you think that's gonna work, especially on this site? Your face must be next to "optimist" in the dictionary!  Smile

Judging from the IQ chart above and the intelligence displayed in the original post, the irony of this thread is probably lost on you.

Well, there is one giant snag ahead of you, just in case you didn´t notice: Childishly gloating about a narrow election victory is one thing. Making things actually work is quite another.

Judging by the track record of the Bush administration so far, it´ll be a rough ride from here.

All bonuses, post-9-11 special considerations and comatose opposition plus press are a thing of the past. All favours have already been called, allies insulted and driven away, political capital wasted, new enemies made.

From now on, cold, hard job performance is required. You chose to be a solo act, now you´ve got to run with it.

Good luck, George II; You´ll need it.

Arrogance displayed in the original post is just one of the reasons that ultra-conservatives are despised throughout the world. You're not helping your cause, and you have no right to tell people to shup up because of some narrow 51/48 victory in the election. Obviously the American people are extremely divided, with the rest of the world not particularly liking Bush, or so it seems. Hardly a reason to be arrogant.

No, this post was put here for debate. Yet again, we have great debate material.

Falcon84: Not only are you arrogant, but you're a liar as well.

Sir, the original title of this post was "Liberals and Europe please sit down". The overall context being, that the election is over, the people have spoken and it is time for us to sit back down and get back to work. Terrorism, taxes and other issues await us.

CX747,

That's the typical behavior of your government: "We just don't care about opinion of the rest of the world". That's why the USA are constantly losing allies, and gaining enemies.

I don't care what it said, the implication was obvious, condscending and filled with arrogance that the conservatives often show when they win-"you sit down, you losers, shut up, an let us take care of things." Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. We won't sit down; we son't shut up; we'll continue to hound this guy for the mistakes he has made, the election notwithstanding.

If things go well, I'll be the first to say it. If he does something that I think is OK, like his nomination of Gonzalez for AG, I will say so, but on Iraq, on the economy, on giving out huge tax breaks to the filthy rich, I will not accomodate you, him, or anyone else. So stick it.

On the contrary. I think it's very instructive and healthy to have such a debate, becuase it shows the utter arrogance of the right-wing nutjobs, and their feelings of superiority towards those they loath-namely, "liberals" and Europeans. Keep it up, you're burying yourself more and more.

But don't sit here and like through your teeth that your arrogant, consdesending remarks wern't meant to put those groups in their place. It was, and it was insulting.

Here's to 4 more years of fuck-ups by your hero, and a real president in '08.

The stupidity here is fascinating. The fact is, liberals and conservatives have low IQs...both of them. They blindly follow the political dogma spoonfed to them by their party handlers...so that should give all the moderates in here a nice accurate picture of all those in here who say "I'm a proud conservative/liberal".

Let's go further...the users in here who profess to be proud liberals/conservatives are also terrorists. That's right...terrorists...deserving of stays in Guantanamo Bay. They use fear, put-downs, flamefests, and other terror tactics (just look at this very thread for the proof) to spread their evil ideologies.

Seriously, these people spread ideologies without any consideration for what others believe. Trust me, the thread starter is conservative (and an obnoxious one at that) but if Kerry had won, we'd see a thread EXACTLY like this one, only the positions of the liberals and conservatives would be reversed.

The users on these boards who proudly profess liberalism or conservatism are liars, spinning the facts to disorient the unsuspecting.

Recently they've become belligerent...insisting that THEY are smarter than a centrist (centrists being smart enough to look at both sides of the coin and make an informed decision).

That cannot stand...both parties are further alienating the middle...leaving us with no representation, and no decent choice.

But we can reverse this...first, punish the political terrorists at the polls....eliminate Dubya, Sen. Kennedy, etc and all the other "machine politicians" who never seem to leave and spread the most propaganda.

Next...tell all the users on a.net who are liberal or conservative to sit down and shut the hell up...long enough to listen to what the majority of Americans actually want...because let me say this, American voters had nothing of what they wanted in the recent elections.

But of course, wait for political terrorists like BN747 or CX747 to quickly pounce on this post. Why you ask? Because they can't handle the TRUTH!
