and it rocks!
Anyone else already got his copy? If you haven't got it yet and like PC Games, go and buy it! The graphics are amazing, the story seems to be great, even the German translation has been done very well.

Half Life was the basis for most first person shooter style games today, as it incorporated a interactive setting, great music and sound effects, and puzzle style thinking. Games like Halo 2 and Metroid Prime 2 can only be seen to have the same type of gameplay that the original Half Life started. That is the reason that it remains one of the best selling PC games around. If you go back and play the original Half Life, you may just agree with me that I think its one of the best first person shooter on the market today. Of course, I haven't tried Half Life 2 yet so I don't know .

Did it come out today in Germany? I was not aware it was out yet here in the United States/Canada.
Love Half-Life. Downloaded many Single-Player map variations; and played the Single-Player many times over. I think the requirements of the new games outweigh this old machine though. How low can you put the graphics in HL 2?

HL@ just came out today in Canada, $60 at Future Shop. Minimum specs are 1.2 ghz processor, 4.5 gb space on hard drive, 256 ram, and a directx7 compatible video card. I don't think my computer will run it. Recommended processor is 2.4 ghz!
