I suppose this is mostly a topic for those of us on the western side of the Atlantic, but it's Saturday night... what's everyone up to?
I, for one, am enjoying a rare night at home with no gigs to play and no work demanding my immediate attention. So I'm drinking raspberry martinis as I burn CDs and back up files in preparation for an O.S. upgrade to Fedora Core 2 (I'm a Linux geek) while listening to Richard Blade on Star 98.7. I guess this isn't the *perfect* Saturday night, but it's coming damn close.

But hey.... you'll have a... um... clean basement to come home to!
(And besides, look at me--my idea of fun on a Saturday night is to see if I can do computer stuff while intoxicated to the point where I would probably get arrested if I were to attempt to drive. That certainly doesn't qualify as a social life...)

Doing construction on the house, drinking copious amounts of beer (prolly not a good mix), goofing around on A.net and watching Saturday Night Live...coolest show ever.

Saturdays during college football season are largely dominated by me parking myself on my recliner and watching football most of the day/night...

I re-tuned my rev limited in my Camaro, then I went to dinner with my parents. After that I went over to some German girls house.....I will leave out the details.

Drove up to PIT to pick up my brother, who came up from Tampa for Thanksgiving week.
Hummer - you described EXACTLY my Saturdays during college football! I'm an Ohio State alum, and had to catch the 4th quarter of the game on the car radio, and had to miss the entire WI-IA game! ARRGH!!!

I went to a wedding yesterday.. bought a lovely white suit and got lipstick on it.. yay.. Its now lying on the floor in a heap. But i had a great time and had a few single good looking men on my table so that was helpful. One of them looked like Jude Law, but he was with his girlfriend (cow). Apparantly he couldnt take his eyes off me, but i never noticed, too busy getting slowly sozzled. SOO, we got chatting and i found out he liked planes too and hes a barrister so that made me feel a little better. Then i glanced over and we saw his stupid girlfriend giving us the evil eye so we had to go seperate ways.. I was so gutted when i saw him dancing though and i even got a video of it. But by the end of the night when it was time to say goodnight (cringe coming on here) i went up and gave him a huge smacker on the cheek and walked off (eeee i could die right now thinking about it)
Oh well, i will probably never see him again eh..
Now i feel like i am dying and i may go back to bed..

Well, yesterday (saturday) I spent all day in Bergen, came home kinda late, and stayed in for the evening. Got work later today, so didn't want to go there with a hangover...
Looking forward to a night out next saturday though...
