Rhaa !
On Saturday morning I had the displeasure of discovering that a lowlife had stolen my rear Elbonian plate, ripping off half of the plastic bodywork of my Astrhaa in the process.
Now I have to find a yellow plate somwhere.
How can people be so stupid !

Happened to someone I know recently.. he went to the police and they said that it's becoming more common, because people are using these plates on stolen cars when committing crimes, speeding and stuff like that.

So report it, then you won't get the blame if something happens  Smile

When I was working nights, a couple guys had the plates stolen from the hangar parking lot. We all went out at coffee time and replaced the old screws with Tri-wings! Not a plate lost since  Smile

I thought mine was nicked a few months back, but I then realised it was lying on the road. The sun had melted the glue on the back of the plates. Needless to say, the next day, I got them bolted on.

Wow, awesome. I heared a rumour that someone once did that at my workplace, but it's most likely a myth...  Smile

Some of us use a screwdriver when we steal plates, it is much easier on the body work and often saves time over just ripping the thing off, also makes the plate much more presentable for wall display.

That Elbonian plate makes a great addtion to my plate collection, thank you so much.

I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

Next time, attach a few wires to the plate, and attach that to a battery. When someone tries to pilfer the plate, rhaaa! A shock to the system!

Or alternatively, just put the plate in the car window, unless that's illegal. That way, they'd have to bust the window, and that's too much work for some thieves.

Probably a number plate collector since French ones aren't all that common over here.

Oh what about the going to police? Oh yeah I forgot 1) the car isn't suppose to be in Ireland 2) the above mentioned Elbonian is 'known to the Gardai'.  Big grin Big grin
