My vote goes to Whitehaven Beach in The Whitsundays, Queensland Australia. After visiting the region a few months ago i must admit that it is absolutely stunning, the sand is sooooooooooooo white and the water really nice - my vote definetly goes to Whitehaven Beach.
What beach do you think is the best?

Any nude beach outside that U.S.A.
The beast beaches I've been to were in Mallorca, Spain, Cuba and Haiti.
I know there are better beaches in the South Pacific that I have yet to visit.
Moloka'i, Hawaii was neat with it's long white sand beach that's almost empty at all times.
Other than that, I settle for Baker's beach here in San Francisco, Stinson Beach in Marin County or Half Moon Bay.

Pink beach, Komodo Island, Indonesia.
Completely unspoilt (ie. no manmade structures of any kind visibile anywhere), pale pink sand, rolling grassy hills and trees behind, and some of the most beautiful coral I have ever seen anywhere, 30m offshore, in crystal clear warm tropical water. Fabulous.

Sadly, I'd be TERRIFIED to swim anywhere in eastern Australia
ConcordeBoy, While being extremely beautiful there is a threat of marine stingers and other such marine life but being cautious and swimming at the right time (ie season) can prevent this threat, and also most of the Whitsundays are traditionally not affected by marine stingers. I do assure you that i have been swimming in Eastern Australia my entire life and have never encountered any problems.
A few photos of beautiful Whitehaven

Yeah... no need to be scared at Whitehaven in the Whitsundays. So long as you visit at the right time. Unfortunately I didn't and had to wear one of those ridiculous stinger suits. Still, it was saving my life, so was sort of important.
My votes? Whitehaven is up there.
I was on Magens Bay in St Thomas USVI on Monday - it was AWESOME.
I have a soft spot too for Playa Grande, Dominican Republic. The pic doesn't really do it justice though...
The beach at Lemuria, Praslin Seychelles was amazing too..
Then there's Antigua, parts of Florida, Bondi, the California coastline, and don't laugh, Tenby in Wales.

Mark, I have to agree with Lemuria. I've been to beaches on the Atlantic, Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Mediterranean and I think the Indian Ocean ones are the best by far: Seychelles, Maldives, Mauritius, Zanzibar, Reunion...

Hawksnest Bay, USVI, St. John. Paradise.
Sardinia, Costa Smerelda
Absolutley Gorgeous.
I've been to both, I think I would be very very very hard pressed to choose where to stay.... although right now I think I would choose Sardinia by a small margin

I agree with you there. I was up there a few months ago, and was amazed at how breathtaking the view was, it was so beautiful, I couldn't believe I was in England, but realtiy came back to me as the wind hit me.

Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda no doubt. Nice waves, beautiful pink sand, neat caves for exploration, and huge rocks to climb.

25 QANTASFOREVER: Um, ConcordeBoy - you'd be "terrified" to swim anywhere in eastern Australia? LOL you are aware that this is the same ocean where thousands of little
26 Dan-air: Big Beach, Maui. No development whatsoever. Usually uncrowded in my experience. In season, you can watch the whales breaching a few miles offshore. St
