Which team do you think will the cup this year, The Devils or the Avalanches?

I personally would like to see The New Jersey Devils win and I think that they deserve to win it again this year.

They have playing great hockey.

Devils will indeed win. Devils are too big and strong. However, I predict the series will go 6 or 7 games and include at least 4 OT games, at least one will be double-OT

NJ 3, Col 1
NJ 2, Col 1 OT
Col 2, NJ 1 2OT
Col 3, NJ 2 OT
NJ 4, Col 2
NJ 1, Col 0 OT

I can't stand the avalanche, and I can't stand Roy even more, I can point out a list a mile long of true things that he does to "cheat" they include padding, jersey and mask sizes. They are all over sized and gives him an unfair advantage over goalies who don't wear illegal padding. Plus, I think he is arrogant. Anyhow, since my stars or leafs aren't in it, I want/think New Jersey in 6. The Devils have played great all year and if they made a repeat, I wouldn't be mad at all. GO DEVILS!!!!! GO DEVILS!!!!

So what they were defeated by the Kings on the first round, or was it the second round.

You see, I'm already prepared for the next season....besides, I support them.

I could care less who wins.(my team the pens are out)But I do wanna see a game 7. Nothing like the excitement and intesity of a game 7 in the finals. Or better yet a game 7 overtime.

I think most people have to do some thinking - the Avs just rolled over the Devils(damned)

Roy got a shutout and the Avs look very strong on homeice - but u have to win at least 4 games so it ain´t over yet !

Just because the Avs won one game doesn't mean they will win the cup you do need to win 4 games to win.

You heard the ESPN man...teams who score first go on to win the cup 78% of the time (or somewhere around that) Let's just hope that's right in this case...

Go Avs

An-225 in no means do I wanna start an argument(I am scared) but if you look at Roys Jersey, it is HUGE as it is always hanging out and a ton of pucks get cought in it. Also, his mask and his blocker and leg pads are oversize. Besides, I can't stand the guy. He is arrogant and overrated.
GO DEVILS GO DEVILS GO DEVILS. BEAT THE CRAP OUTTA THE AVS!!

Listen, Blink182, I do not think his equipment is oversized. League looks at things like those. Oh yeah, look what happened yesterday - 5-0 AVS!!

He is arrogant and overrated.

I saw the Avs. vs. Devils last night. Whether he is arrogant and/or overrated, I sure could tell he is playing maybe the best hockey of his career. Outstanding saves, outstanding game, outstanding shutout.

I must give points to him. No matter ho arrogant and overrated he is, the guy sure does know how to play hockey.

PS. The Detroit Red Wings !!!

I agree w/ An-225, the League would've already discovered this, if he has truly been playing with all this 'oversized' stuff for all this time. I've seen games in which players don't even go 10 minutes without a ref checking out the blade, or the stick itself to see if it is over the regulation size, etc. So, all I say is that I think he plays fair and square, he's just a great goalie.

And hey, if he's arrogant, at least he has something to be arrogant about...

Go Avs

I do not think he's arrogant. One of my friend's dad was working on his house and said that he was a really cool and nice guy. His wife on the other hand - BITCH!
