Is it so that a large number of liberal Americans are now moving to Canada to escape four more years of Bush? If so, what kind of numbers are we talking here? Mass migration to Canada?

There are websites like this one where information about Canada is being given out. http://www.canadianalternative.com

and any of our American posters here planning the move?

Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

I'd say the actual numbers of those who will actually move is small, I beleive most that say they will move are all talk.

I moved to Canada this year but it had nothing to do with the election.

I'd move to Canada, but not because of liberal disappointment. I'd just like to live in Toronto.

Very few people will actually move. If they're really that despondent, and that convinced they can't live here, they have ever freedom to do so.

I think that also means that if a liberal wins in '08, any conservatives who want to leave have to go to Mexico, since Canada is spoken for  Smile

Hey Mark, since the Fast Ferry is going on the auction block, perhaps you should put in a bid and use it to help you move your stuff across the lake.

Aren't they already there for tax reasons? (j/k)  Big thumbs up

Now it should be "IFLYDCA"

I agree with YVR2SAN that most of the people that say they will move are all simply all talk. But if you are an American of liberal mind and you are considering coming to Canada then please do come, you will all be warmly welcomed.

It would be an absolutely stupid thing to do. If you believe in something, rather than crying about it and hitting the road, make a bigger protest. America is about balance of opinions, and if the side that lost this one battle (2004 prez ellection) ups and leaves... it throws away the balance of opinions and just makes it easier for the party they lost to.
