A National Directory of Cell Phone Numbers is due to be published soon. As a result, those bastard telemarketers will have access to us again. In addition to the hassle, if your plan is like mine, every incoming call, answered or not, uses one minute of your alotted time. The Federal Do Not Call List can be accessed at: 1 (888) 382-1222. Call it from the phone number you wish to block from telemarketers. It's good for five years, and takes less than a minute to do. Apparently, it can't prevent them from calling, but if they do and you file a complaint, they get fined heavily. Hopefully drawn and quartered as well.

ConcordeBoy: You've probably heard about recent legislation passed a few months ago whereby you can keep your # when you change plans, and many customers have apparently elected to do so. Regardless, anything to keep these subhumans off my back and out of my wallet.
