What is your experience with stock market, finance, business etc?

Would you consider buying Google stock?

Why, or why not?

No Way. It was a good buy when it 1st floated but is trading too high IMHO. It will probably go up a bit more but is likely to plummet to its 'true' value within a few months once investors start taking profits.

I make a load on the Stock Market by buying stocks at their 52 week low price and selling when they have gone up 15%. Works 90% of the time

I used to think the brain is the most fascinating part of my body. But, hey, who is telling me that?

Dont buy it as it is a horrible stock. The company isnt worth as much as they are posting and it is all false. If you were able to get through the tuff process of buying it when it came out good but if u have to get it now.....dont. Wait until it splits or just before.

AAplatnumflier, if they werent truthful about what they were posting, they would be in alotta deep shit. Googles investor info can be found at http://investor.google.com BTW, I just checked, the stock price for a share of GOOG (stock symbol) is $180.08 a share and climbing.

Yes but Google cant be making as much as it says they are making. It is impossible. They are like multiplying their net worth by so much.....I followed this stock and wanted to buy it...but then I found out how screwey it was

Ok, coming from someone that currently holds 5 shares of GOOG, and knows a finance laywer for Google, they are making what they say they are. Not just from advertising, but they also sell web applications and whatnot.

Just a question no means at all to argue just asking and learning if u dont mind. But at the begininning when I wanted to buy it there was an auction but then they said that there was some sort of paperwork you had to sign. It was a very confusing process. I have heard that the stock will be good and then it time it will go Down.

Im not sure, ill have to ask about that one. I wouldnt know, I got my stock when it was way down in the 20's in March of this year for a birthday gift. (damn good one too). Right now those 5 shares are almost worth 1000$, when I got them, they were worth 100$ all together. But, yes, all stock goes down, but from the way it looks, Googles wont go down too much.
