I rented it from blockbuster with english dubbed. While I thought the concept was good, the overall plot was so stupid. Leaving 100,000 (was that it?) dollars or marks on the subway was just stupid beyond imagination. The same idea of fate within a blink of a second was also used in another movie before this one, sorry I can't remember. I liked the movie a lot, just couldn't stand how he lost the money.
Sometimes I go about in pity for myself and all the while a great wind carries me across the sky.

Yes it's the german movie. I got the subtitled version.
The plot was great! I don't know what you're talking about! It was so suspenseful and i just thought it was so unexpected and interesting. How his first thought was to get off the train when he saw the guards. I don't know...we all have our opinions.

I thought it was a great movie. One question: How could anyone get a movie dubbed? The mouth syncronisation is so off. I much prefer subtitles. German cinema is really good. Anyone see Europa, Europa, a movie about a young jew living in Germany, who successfully manoeuvres himself into the Hitler Youth Army so he isn't killed.
