You have Jilly's rock world, always a great night out...

Lucid is the local "chav" hangout, so You will fit in perfectly

There is also Papparazzi.

Head towards the print works for Lucid and Papparazzi.

Search google for Rock World, Manchester and they have a website will all their info on.

I reccomend Jilly's BTW! its a great all nighter!

Thanks for your quick reply, Kaddyuk. Oh, and I'm not a chav.  Laugh out loud

Just checked Jilly's website - looks good. Could you recommend any good nearby pubs?

What ever you do, WEAR BLACK SHOES!

They dont allow any type of boots or trainers and they MUST be black or you wont get into lucid.

The other places arent so strict.

Oh, and who are you kidding when you say you arent a chav! "innit"

haha

*Is suspiciously curious about your recommendations.*  Laugh out loud

Good pubs nearby are plentiful along Oxford Road/Street(where Jilly's Rockworld is) and if you like a friendly atmosphere go round the corner to Canal Street. Although you need to be open-minded to venture down there on a Friday or Saturday night, but believe me it rocks!

When my wife and I left Mancland to come to NZ we had our leaving party in a pub on Canal Street and it was the best send-off we could have hoped for. Great atmosphere and very,VERY friendly punters.

Enjoy your night out dude. I'm kinda jealous! Smokin cool

Canal Street is probably the best club/bar area in Manchester as it's in the Gay Village. Gay or gay friendly clubs and bars are generally way better than the chav venues, and Canal Street is genuinely mixed and not just gay.

Whatever your musical tastes, you'll find something in the Village.

Sankey's Soap was without doubt the best club I ever went to. We used to go every Friday to Bugged Out before it sold out to Nation in Liverpool. I didn't know it was still open. I thought it closed after all the "heavies" moved in. It was a shame to see that. People carrying guns and crack pipes was not my idea of a good night out. I'm sure that will have passed now.

Theres also Tiger Tiger next door to the Hard Rock at the Printworks. Its only open a few nights a week, but is a fantastic place to go. Huge and has lots of different theme rooms.

The contemporary restaurant, laid-back Lounge, funky Kaz Bar and upbeat Club each have their own impressive and distinct style, decor and soundtrack.
7 Bars, 4 Floors, 2am Licence, 2 Dance Floors, Restaurant

Taken from there website http://www.tigertiger-manch.co.uk/

Oh and you could also check out the student capital of manchester, Fallowfield  Big thumbs up

I can recommend a really dingy Rock Club if you fancy venturing out of the City Centre, "The Witchwood" in Ashton-Under-Lyne
