I envy you, I'm in Manhattan for the summer and I'm itching to get back up to Cornellland (i love it there). I bet the weather was beautiful and peaceful and people were swimming in the gorges and playing frisbee outside on the quads...

Speaking of bands however in that part of the country, do you know Sim Redmond? They are from Ithaca and are awfully good. If you like Ther Cure and have a few mins, download some of their stuff from their site. I love it. http://www.simredmondband.com/mp3.html

If you have time, why not post details of your set. I'd love to know what songs you played, and what instrument you play too.

The Cure come from Crawley by the way.......the closest town to London Gatwick.

If I was that way inclined, Robert Smith would be my man! Sadly though, I'm not!
