I once won $2000 at the Blackjack tables at Treasure Island. The best I could say about getting ahead is "to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run."

I won 50 bucks on the first quarter I dropped into a slot machince at the Showboat. I was laughing myself silly when all those quarters came out. Also, I always do the downtown casinos. I'd stay away from the strip casinos. Downtown is more liberal in payouts. Regards.

Play craps!!!!! Go for the loudest table. It will be hot. You can get up a lot quick or lose a little and get out.
I used to lose my a$$ at blackjack, then make it all back in craps. Now I just play craps. It's by far the FUNNEST game in the casino!!!!!

Best place to win is the local bank. Put that money in a savings account, together with the cash for the planeticket (hmm, might reconsider that part...) and wait...

This is 100% true, but you may not believe it. I went to Vegas when I first turned 21 and found that after a few hours I was completely addicted to Blackjack and slot machines. I was to come back home two full days later and I spent all my $500 the first night and I walked around the casinos at around 3:00am with not even $1 on me feeling so depressed and confused, wondering how I was to have any fun or eat for that matter. I think I was in the MGM at this time and had a feeling to go to the Luxor, so I walked there and was wandering around the casino with my head down and there on the ground was four $100 bills under a guy at the Blackjack table. I walked over stealthy out of desperation and tried to grab it and walk away but as I came up the dealer spotted me and asked me what I was doing. I said I found this $400 and wanted to know who lost it. The guy that was gambling was asian and couldn't speak english so I asked him if it was his and he shook his head no, not knowing what I just said and he responded in Chinese or something and I started walking away and nobody said anything so I kept going with my heart about to explode with adrenaline and pure happiness. Anyway, I got the $400 and went back to the hotel room and slept for around 2 hours and began gambling again for two straight days and ended up broke when I left.

Actually once I won 30 bucks playing Keno...
It was breakfast, and most hotels there have Keno right at the table, with cards there and number boards throughout the resturant, so I picked 10 numbers, gave my dad a couple of bucks so he could pay the lady and make it legal, a few minutes later the results came in and I had 6 of 10 numbers and I won 30 bucks that way...I was only 10 at the time hehe.
