These imbeciles at a radio station in New York made a parody song about the tsunami making fun of it. They should definitely get fired. Here is the audio:

Why did you repost if the original thread was deleted?

I reposted it because I was told I could. THey said the reason it was deleted is for bad language in the title, so I cleaned up the language a bit.

Because I told him. There was no need to use the word "asshole" in the topic headline as well as in the post, and there was no need for anti-American comments from certain members. Hopefully this thread will be do better.

Ok, just curious! There was a very offensive remark from Flybyguy, too. I wondered if that had something to to with it.

well I don't see anything on there site about the song, and they do have a thing to donate money... I have a feeling that it was more just a few of the DJ's joking around and that they didn't ask anyone to do it... If it makes you feel better the only people who listen to HOT97 are the white guys who want to feel black...

Obviously, which is what makes it so dispicable.

StowAway,

I would suspect that if they thought my comment was inappropriate they would have just deleted my post.

BTW political correctness has gone too far. My criticisms were in all actuality a truthful statements. As I have said in a previous post, Political correctness is not an excuse to hide the truth, it is a barrier against the lies that plagued modern civilization and kept inherently good people divided.

Prove me wrong and I will gladly accept your different point of view.

Almost forgot to leave a comment on the thread at hand. I feel that it is poor taste to make parodies of such tragedies. What are the producers at that station thinking?

It's hilarious that you're starting this topic! Do you remember the wonderful things you had to say about the tsunami victims back in December?

Jokes are jokes, take them at that. There was a time when mentioning anything VAGUELY amusing about 9/11 would give you a whole world of pain; now people aren't that bothered. Deal with it.

It's very disrespectful to make jokes of dead people. Unfortunately there is no 'disrespected list' for a.net members.

777236ER and ConcordeBoy, nonetheless this is disgraceful and they probably will get fired because most of the advertisers are pulling out. So far, they have only been put on indefinite suspension.

I agree that they can say whatever they want, but this is simply cruelty in its worst degree. This is the last thing that I would ever think that someone would make fun of.

25 AviatorTJ : The only thing disgraceful about that was the lack of talent displayed by the crew. I figured in that market there would be a little bit more competit
26 Backfire : So someone writes a "disgraceful" song...and you do your part to show your disgust by giving the whole of A.net access to it?
27 Post contains images Gkirk : Backfire, Ironic isn't it Giving people more access to this song
28 BRAVO7E7 : Backfire and Gkirk, the only way for me to show how bad the song is is by giving a link to it. I think these people should be fired, which is why I am
