I found a song by a band which had some strange lyrics. It was the voice of a nervous man talking about area-51. I couldn't quite understand what he was saying, cause he kept mumbeling as if he was really scared. The guy was almost crying. So, I downloaded the lyrics for this "song", here it is. As you read it keep in mind that this man has a shaking and nervous voice:
Faaip de Oiad
"I, I don't have a whole lot of time. Um, OK, I'm a former employee of Area 51. I, I was let go on a medical discharge about a week ago and, and... [chokes] I've kind of been running across the country. Damn, I don't know where to start, they're, they're gonna, um, they'll triangulate on this position really soon.
OK, um, um, OK, what we're thinking of as, as aliens, they're extradimensional beings, that, an earlier precursor of the, um, space program they made contact with. They are not what they claim to be. Uh, they've infiltrated a, a lot of aspects of, of, of the military establishment, particularly the Area 51.
The disasters that are coming, they, the military, I'm sorry, the government knows about them. And there's a lot of safe areas in this world that they could begin moving the population to now. They are not! They want those major population centers wiped out so that the few that are left will be more easily controllable."
I think I've heared his voice another place where he also speaks about Area-51, and he appears to be real to me.
"If guns don't kill people, people kill people - does that mean toasters don't toast toast, toast toast toast?"

I'm a firm believer in Area-51, aliens and the gov't conspiracy to keep it all a secret, so I would give this some valid thought, but at the same time, if it was a "song", I'm not sure how much weight I would put on this.

Whether or not you believe in Area 51 and aliens and UFO's and such I guess all boils down to whatever you WANT to believe, since none of us really knows for sure. But one thing is clear: the government is hiding SOMETHING there. Whether it's Flying Saucers or just a replacement to the Stealth Fighter that will be announced in a few years is anybodys guess.

The song you are referring to is the last track from Tool's latest release "Lateralus". The "lyrics" as you called them, are an excerpt from a phone call made to the Art Bell radio show some time ago. In case you're not familiar with the premise of Mr. Bell's show, it is carried on AM radio stations late at night and deals mostly with paranormal happenings, E.T.s being one. This particular call is interesting in that the show mysteriously lost it's satellite uplink during the call. Government intervention or just sunspots? It's fun to ponder. Go to http://www.artbell.com for all the details.

Here's a direct link to a sound file of the call to Art Bell regarding Area 51. There's a twist that I forgot about that if anything, makes the whole situation even more weird. You will need RealPlayer to hear the clip. http://www.artbell.com/mediafiles/area51out.ram

There have been many people claiming to be ex-employees at Area51. So far all of them have failed extensive background checks.
The US government may be hiding something there.
Some of the more interesting things hidden there in the past are:
All would have been considered UFOs by many until revealed by the airforce.
The same is true of many UFO reports worldwide. Most of the UFO reports in the 1960s in northern Russia coincided with rocket launches from the (then secret) facility at Plesetsk. What the people saw were rocket plumes from the unknown (to them) base, which they thought were little green men (instead of little men in green).

I think Jwenting hit the nail on the head. Aliens, UFO's and the like belong with Astrology, faires, Santa Claus and belief in a flat Earth.
In 1938, Orson Wells broadcast a radio play version of HG Wells 'War Of The Worlds'. Across the US, thousands of people listening to the story, told in the manner of a ficitious news broadcast, reported that they had seen, heard and felt the heat of rays, from the giant Martian mechanical tripods. Whole towns became hysterical.
Since then, Movies and TV have bombarbed us with science-fiction alien/UFO stories. Isn't it funny how the 'aliens' people keep meeting look just like the ones in 'Close Encounters Of The Third Kind'.
Funny too how the UFO era has coincided with aircraft-particulary jets, rockets, re-entry of space junk, massive light pollution caused by increased urbanisation and a multitude of other explanations.
Rather more likely that Area 51 is just another secret facility given undue attention due to an myth, almost always spun by people with an axe to grind.

I hear that Area 51 has moved. Yes- moved to another site. The 'supposed' new site is near Colorado Springs, Col. It's been said that the atomic tests at original Area 51 has caused contamination in the area that has led to occasional radioactive levels flaming up from underground.

I never said I don't think there are alien lifeforms, even intelligent ones.
All I noted was that there is no reason to believe that any of them ever visited earth, let alone that the US government is hiding them or their spacecraft from the world somewhere (be it Rosswell or Area 51).
Given the size of the universe, the chance of us being alone is as good as zero. Because of that size, the chances of any aliens visiting us is also as good as zero.
Given the distances between the stars, colonisation is about the only economical reason to go there.
Seeing a planet occupied by a highly aggressive lifeform should be enough reason for any colonisation mission to move elsewhere.
Pure explorers would not seek contact, all claims about "sexual experiments for crossbreeding" are bullocks. We can't even crossbreed with gorilla's, creatures that are very closely related. Any civilisation advanced enough to have develloped cheap interstellar travel would know that crossbreeding between them and any species found on another planet (with at least billions of years of divergent evolution, if not a completely different biological system) is quite impossible.

I'm sure there is an area51, after all it does show up on government maps...
Or maybe that means it does not exist, all those things always confuse me.
The general conspiracy theory:
1) The government says it is so so it is not.
2) Government denies it is so so it must be true.
3) Government finally admits it is so so I was right with 2) all along.
What happened to 1) I ask you, as it is in contradiction with 3)...

yes, that's the way I see it. It likely does contain things that to the casual onlooker are UFOs, such as secret experimental aircraft (given that UFO simply means Unidentified Flying Object, anything flying is a UFO until you identify it, including ducks and F-16s).

The only thing that worries me about so called area 51 are those signs saying "deadly force is authorized" or some such language.
Yes, the airbase was a secret only because the government didn't want the wrong eye's observing. The base has been there for years...mostly testing and fine tuning "black projects" including our stealth projects
and high altitude photo recon. aircraft. It has to be done somewhere out of sight...and '51' is...or was the place. Now the story goes that there have been so many people nosing about...and allegedly so much hazardous material strewn around the place that the goverment moved the complex to another part of the country. I am sure that if this is true...there is still probably some research activity in progress...but not as much as before.
About the guy who called into that radio show....I come across these unfortunate people everyday downtown fighting their mental devils and other hallucinations. There is not a week that goes by that at least one mentally disabled person announces that he or she has been in some way, in contact with those who have come from afar. And then their are those who appear quite normal but claim they have been abducted. I have no answer for this....and for all I know, it may very well be true.

All I know is that Area 51 does exist near Groom Lake, Nevada. The government practically denies its own existance. Do you really believe that the SR-71 is retired? I personally bet not, and why do aliens abduct people within the proximity of Joe Shmoe's pond instead of Argonne National Laboratories?
