Does anyone knows what kind of employer Air New Zealand is? Do they pay well? I intend to get a job in New Zealand with NZ.

Thanks in advance.

Sander

NZ's pay is standard. Not the best, but good enough. There are some great company perks. Like 90% off travel (conditional) and the christmas cake from Mr Norris every christmas.

Maybe one of the few AirNZ employees that are members on this site can give more info.
Where do you intend to work?

Thank you NZ747.

I don't mind the location, where ever there is a position available but I prefer South Island.

I currently work as ramp agent at Amsterdam Airport and I'm looking for a similar position. My employer Menzies Aviation Group is also active at Auckland but I think working for an airline will bring more benefits and Menzies salaries are miserable.

CHC would be the best South Island airport. But if your interested in a regional airport the maybe NSN or ZQN.

agreed - NZ is far better an employee than Menzies for Pay/Perks/Shifts. To be honest you would be better to start at AKL than the other airports as there are jobs going most of the time, and there are more Intl. flights.

I already contacted NZ and the chances they want to hire me are good as soon as I have residence in New Zealand. I let NZ decide where they need me if they want to hire me.

Thank you very much for you help people!!!

Who knows we'll meet somewhere near an New Zealand Airport.

One more question:

How much would an annual salary be for such a job in New Zealand?

It depends on senority and experience, but expect about 24,000 for a full time position before tax. I do know of people in these positions earning a lot more, but they didn't start that way. Calculate for about $15 per hour you work.
