What's the plan? Spotting or, more preferable, going into DUB centre and doing stuff, like drinking?

Give us some more proposals!  Smile

If the weather is nice :

Saturday :
- Meet at DUB
- Go over to runway 10/28 spotting area (more than enough vehicles to go around)
- Have lunch at the adjacent Santry shopping mall
- More aircrhaaft spotting
- Move to the city center at the end of the afternoon
- Check in hotels/B&b's
- Start drinking
- Have dinner in a traditional Irish pub/restaurant in Temple Bar
- Resume drinking

Sunday :
- Wake up with a huge hangover
- Have breakfast
- Resume spotting

If the weather is dire, there shall (...) be at least 3 vehicles to go around so we can always visit the sights of Dublin (and drink in the process).
Those include the Guinness storehouse, O'Connell/Grafton streets for shopping, Temple Bar, etc...

Sounds interesting but unfortunately isn't EI flying from HAM to DUB during the winter season  Sad.

Maybe I will use some miles to fly on Craphansa but I have to wait until 2 weeks before departure because FlySmart awards aren't bookable earlier.

Any possibility to put this meet say 2 weeks later to March 19/20. I think that weekend would probably be more suitable for most people and would let people get cheaper fares.

Concerning accomodation - depends if you want to be near the airport or in the city centre in itself (and your budget of course).
Hotels and B&B's are plentiful in Dublin so it shouldn't be a problem.
