In my opinion is 6pm way too early to drink alcohol. I will have a few beers later this evening while watching football (2. Bundesliga), until then I will stick to Sprite.

Yeah, it's not even 12.00 here. How the hell can you be drunk at 18.00 and how the HELL can you be getting drunk off of three beers?!

Agreed. I usually wait until 6:15 or so. As for me, it's noon right now, but with the Spuer Bowl this weekend, it promises to be liquidy.

Hehe dont ask me, the absence of a real dinner today might give the answer to that. Even though saying that i am drunk is an overstatement...getting there would be more correct. Should've formulated the topic in some other way  Smile

I agree, this is the reason why I wrote: In my opinion is 6pm way too early to drink alcohol.

I agree with Jamotcx, it's never too early to drink. Last year on holiday, I was drinking lager with my breakfast at 11am, was quite funny, seen as though I was dieting. Somehow I lost 3lb that week scoffing junk food, fry-ups and copious amounts of alcohol all week, lol.

By the way guys, this being a friday night party thread and all. What is your favourite way of getting pissed? Beer, drinks or pure vodka? Or something else?

My personal favourite is nowadays beer, a swedish cheap beer called "Kung" (means King)....very good tasting to a very cheap price. I never could have imagined that a cheap beer like that could taste so good.

Cheers!

But if I'm just out to socialise or watch football its pints  Smile

I'll tell you, red wine is my favorite at home; Bass when at a pub. Anyway, I've recently started drinking some Ketel One Vodka from AMS. I mix it 2:1 with Trader Joe's Orange, Peach, Mango Juice, so it's damn strong, and it's smooth as can be. Never a hangover with this stuff. Here it's about $25-$30 per liter, though. You won't see Kirkie drinking this stuff unless someone buys it for him  Wink/being sarcastic.

Not drinking this weekend. I've been out every weekend since last year, so time to take it easy and save some money.  Smile

As for what time is suitable to start drinking, at least after 7PM. Depends how much one intends to drink though...  Smokin cool
