I want to hear some unbiast opinion from the Europeans about these two teams. Im a long time Barcelona Fan but its very hard(and expensive) to watch football in the USA.My freind on the otherside is a die-hard chelsea fan. Based on what the Internet tells me and what i manage to hear/see these teams are very evenly matched, but i want some opinions form people deep into the game.

I think Chelsea will be tough to beat, they are really in good form. However, Chelsea do have a rep for not always performing as well as they should against continental teams. I'd expect a 3-2 score line if it isn't a 1-1 draw.

LOL at Kirkie - the odds of Chelsea conceding 3 goals in a single match are astronomical. Barcelona's problem will be scoring. Chelsea without Robben aren't so strong but even if Chelsea don't score I think Barcelona will find it very hard to find the net. Chelsea defend much better than the teams in the Spanish league and Barcelona have defensive frailties - I can see two 2-0 wins for Chelsea, 4-0 on aggregate. IMHO if Barcelona win it will be a massive shock - Barcelona have the famous name but anyone who has seen Chelsea play will know the blues are the much better team.
I used to think the brain is the most fascinating part of my body. But, hey, who is telling me that?

As a lifelong diehard Chelsea and Everton fan, I would say that chelsea has an edge over Barcelona... they have a great coach who makes the most out of them and the have won 14 of their last 17 games! (1 loss, 2 draws) Plus, here in Canada football is all around you on TV (if you have the right channels) I am also hearing rumours that Sky Sports COULD make an entry into Canada in the coming years

A die hard Chelsea fan as well.
Chelsea have very pacey wings in Robben and Duff and Barca usually attack from the middle where Chelsea's defence is strongest. Also, almost every player in the Chelsea squad can score goals, except for Kezman
But on the other hand, Eto'o is a lethal striker as well. I see a very tough and exciting tie with slight advantage to Chelsea, something like 55 to 45 for the Blues.
