Is it too late to apply as an International student, what do you recommend I do? I am applying to the University of Liverpool for an Engineering Major, any other good school (I am prolly not gonna apply to the real good schools like Oxford)

How is University in the UK compared to the US?

Do I need to send my application all the way to the UK or can I send it to my British Consulate?

Presuming you want to study at Undergraduate level you need to apply through UCAS (University and College Applications Service). Here is the link to the international students page on their website:

http://www.ucas.ac.uk/studyuk/index.html

You can apply online by following the link on that page. Alternatively you can get an paper application form sent to you by the US branch of the British Council for $7 through their undergraduate study website:

http://www.britishcouncil.org/usa-education-undergraduate-degree.htm

This also gives you info about study etc.

The application deadline was the 15th of January, but I think a late application is also possible.
