The new ikea store was located in the brough of edmonton green, apparently it is the second poorest borough (don't know the first). Unfortunately they still decided to sell three piece suites starting from just £50. At midnight when the store opened, the force of 6000 people kicked the doors down to try and grab the bargain they wanted. In the crush, I think it was 22 injured, mainly with rib injuries with 5 taken to hospital. Store was closed after thirty as the situation got completely out of control.
