....for drink driving. As was Jermaine Pennant, (Arsenal, on-loan to Brum). Do you think either of these will be prevented from playing this season? If so, could it affect Chelsea's goal-scoring ability? I wouldn't have thought so - there are plently of others.

Plenty of players have had their collar felt for drink driving in the past. One of them there Arse-nal players is about to get the jug for driving whilst pissed AND banned, Jermaine Pennant. He is going down for that offence.

It depends on the club normally whether they are suspended from the playing staff. The rules seem to be a fine imposed by the club on top of what the courts decide.
