Hey there, i'm sat around on one of my days off being lazy and doing absolutely nothing! I should be cleaning or getting some fresh air but i can't be bothered, so the question is...

What do you do when you don't have to work?

Cheers

I haven't had a day off of work since Christmas, so I have forgotten.... Yet I do plan on taking this coming Feb.21 off to revisit my golf game....Then back to work until mid-March.

I do absolutely nothing. I just either sit around relaxing, or I have a drive to NCL, to see if anything is going on. Or i just sit check out a.net all day.

I work a two weeks on, two weeks off shift. It's a great retirement job. During my time off, in the winter I usually travel. In the summer, I'm out and about in my camper somewhere in Alaska, the Yukon or British Columbia.

I usually do a little cleaning, play with kitty and hang out. Nice thing is that I'm a government worker so I get all official holidays off.

My life is pretty much one big day off with a few hours of class interspersed...and they say college is hard. And mostly, I just waste time, like here on A.net.

Most of the time, my off days consist of my lazy butt sitting in front of the computer being absolutely worthless.

Same here. I used to work part time at Uni, but I quit because the pay sucked and my boss was a real a$$hole. I came back today at 13:00, been wasting time ever since.

Now that's a funny post.

I try to catching up on extra sleep on my days off. I have only had three of them since X-mas, so when I get one off I try to enjoy it.

Well I only get one day a week off. Wednesday. The car business is pretty much a 7 day work week though. If I have a client that wants to meet on Wednesday,,,guess what...I am there. Also I frequently take clients to lunch/dinner...etc to schmooze them....I am pretty much on call 24/7.

Depends on how many days I'm needed to work. For Instance last week I only had 3 days off, but 3 weeks ago I had 5 days off. I have a nice life style  Smile

Work Mon-Fri so have weekends and holidays off. Some weekends I am so lazy that I watch movies or read books all day! Most weekends though I try and get out of town. Fares from New York (JFK/LGA) are very cheap and you can get some pretty cool last minute deals. I work for a hotel company, so staying is not a problem. Next weekend I will be in Seattle, going Saturday, back Sunday. Then the one after that Savannah, and so on.

cheers
