I wan't to take a small poll here.

Who here was woken up by that enormous double thunderclap around 6:00am Saturday morning? Almost everyone I talked to today has, so what about you?

I'm normally not scared of thunder but that thing scared the shit out of me! My house shook!

I didn't, but could you keep your storm systems over there please? I really like snow, but not snow with sleet. No sir, you can keep it!  Big thumbs up

Since I don't even know what you're referring to, I must have slept right through it.

I'm sorry I missed it.

At 6:00 AM? On a saturday? I wasn't even up, believe you me. However, later in the day, I heard some, and it was pretty sweet. That doesn't happen too much in SoCal, so it was pretty cool...

Well I am at my brothers in Yorba Linda this week and cant say I was awoken by anything. But after growing up in Denver, I'm fully aware of what you are referring to, and they are pretty neat. We had one about 3 weeks ago up in Sacramento.

That one was probably too far south to wake us up here in Burbank. We got our shake-the-house thunder and lightning last night. My dogs have decided they do NOT dig the explosions outside.

My mom in SD says you folks got some hell at times, judging by the speed of the system, I should get some of that today evening or tomorrow, in fact http://www.weather.com/activities/ot...er/weather/tenday.html?locid=86301 says it will happen Mon through Wed.
