Okee doke..have a linksys wireless network here at home, 2 desktops and a laptop running off it.

I believe I have the host set up correctly so that certain files can be shared..in this came a game for which my son lost the CD.

How do I get the other systems set up so they can a) see the shared files and b)
copy and/or use them?

It's all getting too complex for an old fart like me
Thanks a bunch

Jim

ohhh.. no setup disc on a program is very tricky.. With almost all modern programs you cant just copy the files over. They have registry settings and a bunch of other things you need for them to work. Now if you have the setup file thats a differnt story.

Didn't think of that :-( ..well, I just went and checked the folder in which it's installed and there is what appears to be a set up file for the game...I clicked on
it and it acted like it wanted to install it.

Note: this is a legitimate, registered copy of the game.
