My first hope: that loudmouth Rob and his million dollar fiance Amber (from Survivor All-Stars get bounced early.
This is probably the desire of most of the television audience. They are clearly the "villians" of the new series. Even if they are not bad people, who in the hell wants to see a couple who won 1,100,000$ and two cars win yet another million dollars? Geez, give the rest of us a chance! Many people will watch the show just for the hope of seeing them lose. However, I get the feeling they will go far into the game. If they win, it might kill the show. After all, you had the "ugly Americans" win it last time.

can't wait for the show to begin! we already know they're going to LIM in the first episode. wonder if it'll be on CO or AA, guess it depends on the starting point.
and I will echo my hope for Rob and Amber to make an early exit

Rob and Amber should stay for a while. Phil Keoghan gave an interview about series 7 saying just their presence made the teams more competitive. I just hope the final hurdle is something more interesting than "eat a pizza" this time.

I just hope they don't allow or boot off people whom had the obnoxious and offensive beheavor of one of the male contestants had to his female partner in the last series. I do hope they include more historical and meaningful points of interest in this next 'Race' (like the visit to the departure point in Africa for the slave trade to the Americas).

I'm looking forward to watching this season- I really think Amazing Race is the best Reality program going. Anyone know if Vegas runs odds on who the winner will be?

We'll never know, they'll probably show some stock footage of some WN plane.
I too hope Rob and Amber get the boot early, or at least have some emotional breakdown like some other contestants. If I have to hear his hideous voice any more, I'm going to go crazy.

My VCR is set and ready to go!! I absolutely love the Amazing Race. I make sure I tape every episode so I can watch the following day. It's a pitty I only saw the first hour of the last season. Technically speaking, I have no clue who won!
You are said to be a good pilot when your take-off's equal your landings.

Hopefully this time they will actually have some teams that weren't just picked because they were assholes! It ruined last season.

Lima
The models Freddy and Kendra won, the race finished in Chicago, They had to go to a park by Chinatown by the chicago river. When I saw the park on tv, I was like I know that park. I pass by it everyday. The Orange "L" train line passes right next to it. You get a good view of the park.
CBS is taking applications for the Amazing Race 8, anyone care to apply.

Since the show is prerecorded Vegas casinos cannot legally take bets on the outcome.

Did anyone see the nice shot of the UA 777 in the new colors, showing it taking off and then the mid-air shot? Very nice. I noticed they did a much better job of showing the correct aircraft shots, with a few exceptions. I didn't know AA flew domestically within Peru.
