Has anyone listened to Billy Joel's Miami 2017 (Seen the light go out on Broadway) since September 11th?

Not that it was a prediction or anything but some of the lyrics are eerie in light of September 11th. Specifically:

I've seen the rats lie down on Broadway
I've seen the mighty skyline fall
the boats were waiting at the battery
the union went on stike
they never sailed at all

they sent a carrier up from Norfolk...

As I siad its not exact, but chilling The mighty skyline fell, boats were waiting at the battery and the Navy sent a carrier to New York Harbor.

The song takes on a whole new meaning now than it had previously. Does anyone know if he has commented on these lyrics since 9-11?

Odd stuff!

On a side note: Along the same odd coincidence lines, I believe that on 9/11 there was CD from some rap group that was being released that had the Twin Towers illustrated as exploding or being on fire. That was obviously pulled off the shelves, pretty darn fast.

The fact you dug that up, THAT fast, Harry, gets an add to my "Respected" list!
