If You Were Prez, What A.net Members In Cabinent?

OK this is pretty self explanatory. If you were President of the US what A.net members would you appoint to what positions and why?

If I were Prez I would have:

Vice President: Flairport: He has that same creepy Cheney vibe from the whole stalker thing, and it isn't like that job comes with any actual responsibilities.

Sec Defense: L-188, He would probably enjoy the job and might bring back the days of having airplanes that weren't boring to look at flying around.

Sec State: KROC, I can just see him getting in some third world assholes grill and handing him a KO or a piazza whiff.

Ambassador to the UN: JCS17, he disagrees with them so much it might be funny to watch him have to deal with them.

Sec Transportation: Superfly, Someone to finally do something about annoying emissions regulations and bring back cars that are actually worth both looking at and driving.

Sec Interior: Falcon84, this is usually a giveaway position anyway, other than watching over national parks I really don't know what else this position does. So he probably wouldn't have to quit his day job. He could also arrange mass tree-huggings.

Sec Homeland Security: OBitch1504, I know he would personally work hard to improve airport security by going to each and every airport himself and teaching the TSA how to properly grope women in the name of national security.

I had a few others when I was thinking about this instead of paying attention in cost accounting, feel free to add new cabinent posts.

If I were Prez:

Vice President: ANCFlyer
Secretary of State: Diamond
Secretary of Defense: L.1011
Ambassador to the U.N: Falcon84
Secretary of Transportation: Newark777
Secretary of Education: SFOMEX
Secretary of Homeland Security: DeltaGuy

I am too lazy to type out the reasons right now. Smile

Edit: BTW, I am missing a few people, but can't think of them right now.

I really don't know who I'd pick, but let me get back to you on that.
I do think I'd have to pick Johan as Vice President just out of respect.

Thanks for the cabinet post CaptOveur.  Cool

Vice President: Ctbarnes
I'd trust him to step right up to the plate and carry out my agenda if assasinated

Sec Defense: Russophile
Smart man with grasp of world affairs and dovish feeling like myself that's not hell bent on going to war.

Attorney General: Lehpron
He will only go after the real crooks and will not criminalize dying patients for pot possesion.

Sec State: BN747
We are on the same page on just about everything but still trust the guy to be independent when necessary

Ambassador to the UN: Cedarjet
Smart man with grasp of world affairs and understands our role as a superpower to be a leader in world peace (not war), democracy and stomping out major worldwide human issues such as poverty and disease.

Sec Transportation: PHILBOS
For obvious reasons. Come visit us in the car threads. Plus he has private sector hands on experience in the feild.

Sec Interior: Radarbeam
He is a good enviornmentalist and trust him to oversee our national parks

Sec Homeland Security: Swissgabe
Well travelled individual who knows the ins & outs of countrys that are trouble spots. He has visited them as well

Secretary of Education: Tbar220
Very smart well educated guy. He can set a great example for our youth.
EGGD would be a good back up

Secretary of Commerce: Sccutler
Smart man when it comes to fiscal matters and would show that my administration is open to a few Republican ideas.  Wink

My first draft:

Veep: Falcon, I need someone to counter my occasional NeoCon outbursts.

SecState: DL021. He's Been there, done that (unlike Condi Rice) and not only talk the talk, but walk the walk. . . .

SecDHS: Bravo7E7. I need someone to control all the stupidity in that Department, someone set minded and dictatorial.

SecDef: L-188. Knows guns, knows ammo - what else I need?

Sec to UN: SFOMEX. Level Head, been a lot of places, surprises you with input.

AG: Stowaway. Got the keep the left wingers in line somehow . . .

SecEd: Klaus, I've seen his posts. He talks etherial enough, maybe he's smart too.  Big grin

SecInterior: It's a nothing job, so give it a nothing member: MD90 gets the job. He WILL approve and support drilling in ANWR or I'll fire his ass.

New Department . . .Secretary of Middle Eastern Affairs: BA gets the job. Might not always agree with him (like about the Hezbollah Terrorist organization) but he has a handle on the Middle East . . . .

As for my first Executive order: Disassemble, disband, stop, disorganize, take apart, dissolve, delete, erase the TSA. Now and forever.

This is, of course a first draft - just a stab . . . . .

He would enjoy the job - trouble is the rest of the world would be reduced to a smoking bubbling sheet of glass the first morning he wakes up hungover or fails to hit his lunchtime raccoon with a Stinger missile. Especially France  Smile

If I were Prez, I wouldn't bother with a cabinet, I'd nominate myself Supreme Benevolent Autocrat, fire Congress (freeloading backstabbing assholes), declare a 4-week national holiday, and take AF1 to Tahiti with 150 of my closest friends. It's good to be the Supreme Benevolent Autocrat. Big grin
