Built my own desktop, in need of an a bit of an upgrade at the moment:
Elitegroup K7S6A
AMD Athlon XP1800+
256Mb PC2100 DDR RAM
Maxtor Diamondmax +8 40Gb HDD
Maxtor Diamondmax +9 80Gb HDD
nVidia Geforce FX5200 128Mb (yeah yeah I know, upgrading to Radeon 9600XT when I can afford it)
Lite-On 48x48x24x16 CD-Rw/DVD-ROM
Lite-On 16x DVD-Rw
Ancient floppy drive, surprised it still works
Generic 802.11b Wireless Ethernet card
Generic TV-input/capture card
JBL Creature II speakers (awesome!)
GNR Corp 17" monitor
USB Secure Digital slot
USB Webcam
A4Tech Wireless Keyboard/Mouse
Lexmark All-In-One X1180
Windows ME
The fastest CPU my board will take is the XP2400+, even with BIOS upgrade, so I'm torn between waiting until I can afford a decent new board to do a major upgrade, or keeping the same board and just installing a new graphics card, CPU and memory. And upgrading to Windows XP when I can afford it, obviously. I need a job.
