I would have been very surprised in Scotland beat Wales, just like I would if Italy beat England.

LOL. Well done. I will watch the highlights later.

The match against Ireland next week will be a far greater test of Wales' ability, as both countries are very good and more equal in ability. Should be interesting.

Well done Wales, the first half was amazing. Although the second half wasn't as positive for Wales I believe that the minds of the Welsh team had started to drift onto the next match, against Ireland in Cardiff next week.

However, well done Scotland for not letting their heads drop!

Final Score.. Scotland 22 - 46 Wales

Regards,
Chris

And that will help, how? Kirkie, it's no good blaming the coach, Scottish rugby is in an appalling state, and it's not just the national team. If you look at the Heineken Cup, the Scottish regions get walloped week in, week out by everyone. The Italian teams do much better than the Scots.

Matt Williams said when he took on the (impossible) job that it would take years, and that's exactly what will be needed.

It seems to me that the question has to be whether anyone else could do better. And I don't see who or how. More to the point, why on earth would anyone want the job? There are a few reasonable players, like White, Cusiter and Paterson, but the rest; Lord, they wouldn't get into an English or French club side.

You keep telling yourself that, mate.  Wink

I know. You've got to start to wonder if he's ever going to come back. It's just injury after injury. Got to feel for the lad.

Don't be stupid, Thom@s. How on earth would Scotland ever get 10?  Wink
