DONT GET THE SONY-ERICSSON! They are IMPOSSIBLE to use.... I know a bunch of people who had them, and the interface is so ridiculous.... you have to press a million buttons just to get to the phonebook, then to place the call....same if you want to store a number..... my advice is to play around with one that actually works before you buy it....otherwise you might be in for a frustrating surprise

If you want a really great phone, get a Samsung SGH-D500. Best phone I've ever had.
1,3 MP Cam that makes great pictures for a phone, the menus are a very fast and easy to use, 90MB internal space, MP3 player, display is extraordinary, the sound clarity is amazing, outlook synchronization via bluetooth works without problems. Only thing I miss is voice-control.
With a contract, you can get it for free here, I don't that it will be any different in other countries.

Why do want to go for these phones? Here in Switzerland they are already not anymore the newest ones. I had the 630 and have now the Sony-Ericsson K700i (it is kind of the successor of the 630). I am satisfied with the S-E phones. As somebody said, there are some features on 630 where you have to press too many buttons, but nevertheless it is very easy to handle. With K700i this problem is completely fixed, it is a really great phone.

It's not on your list but as A389 said check out the Nokia 6230. Has some nice features such as an MP3 player, camera and all the reviews I read about it are good. Probably going to get it for myself in a few days, since my old phone is just about dead.

Well neither of them look like fabulous phones, to be honest. Sanyo makes a GREAT phone. My old Sanyo 4900 was awesome, and now I have the MM7400, and it is beyond awesome. I get reception with that thing in places I never did before with my old 4900. Of course these are Sprint PCS phones...But they are still great phones.
