Apparently the sword is going to leave Scottish soil for the 1st time in its history, all for some tartan week in NYC, if you Americans want to see it you can just fly over and go to Stirling Castle. It should never be allowed to leave, the English will invade us :P

Neutrality means that u don't really care cos the struggle goes on even when ur not there, blind and unaware

You're so selfish that you don't think it's reasonable to allow your friends to borrow it for a few days?

Heavens above fellas, they're not going to nick it, are they?  Yeah sure

If you think we'd be stupid enough to invade that desolate waste North of Hadrians wall again, you are sadly mistaken. We've used most of the oil and gas and most of us don't like Haggis. So, you'll be quite safe from the English.  redflag

Now, the French, they'll invade anyone for anything.!! As long as you don't fight back!  white

Have a nice day

No - only if the invaded territory is suitable for the installation/development of a Club Med. Scotland HARDLY qualifies. Big grin

To be fair, getting the Scots to wash at all would be a step in the right direction.

Where do you think that famous stinking North Sea tide comes from, that's killing all the seals ? Bath night in Govan. Won't somebody PLEASE think of the environment ?!

You don't think allowing a Scot access to any sharp implement is undesirable?  Wow!

As long as they dont break it they can look at it. Reminds me of the famous Crocodile Dundee line

"mick, he's got a knife"

"Thats not a knife - THAT'S a knife" (produces outback machette). Well Wallace's sword is the same. THAT's a KNIFE!!
