I've never had any surgeries. I've had stitches in my forehead and my wisdom teeth removed, but that's pretty standard stuff.

Only one true surgery in my 50 years living. On Feb. 3rd, I had my Gall Bladder taken out. They used Laproscopic surgery, was 'same day' surgery, had only 4 small incisions for the tools, and back to work just over 2 weeks later. No problems since then. Problem with the Gall Bladder discovered when an ultrasound scan was done of the trunk of my body to diagnose other possible problem I had last summer, and along the way they noticed stones and other problems with my gall bladder.

I've had a few cysts removed, including one from my neck a few months ago. Also had a stye (sp?) that needed to be surgically removed a few years ago. All of these were simple outpatient procedures.

Would you count spinal taps as a surgery? I've had one, and they are brutal.

In 52 years the only surgery I have had is a circumcision, two ingrowing toenails and a Rhinoplasty - which isn't sticking a damn great horn on my face either!!!!!!!!!

Oral surgery to pull my wisdom teeth...don't remember much about it, given the fact that I was quite doped up - they gave me laughing gas and a general anesthetic pre-op and then post-op I was given extra strength Motrin and Tylox. I was definitely not feeling ANY pain that day. The next day though...
