A sad day for anyone familiar with American Television. Today, we lost the man who portrayed one of the most beloved, one of the most hated, one of the most controversial TV characters ever. Carroll O'Oconnor, who portrayed Archie Bunker in "All In the Family" died at age 76 of a heart attack.
He's in TV heaven now with Ralph Cramden, Mike Brady, Col. Henry Blake and Ted Baxter.

More anti-Americanism from Joona. Well, Joona, we can mourn who we want to. If you don't like it, too bad, pal.
Maybe when you die, someone will mourn your passing, and not make light of it, as you do here.

They said he first experienced chest pains, went to his doctor, then the doctor said to go to the ER, then about an hour after he go to the ER he went into major cardiac arrest, and God decided to go ahead and bring him to heaven.
This is very sad, but he is probably enjoying his time in heaven and watching all the shows he acted on again.
Jetservice, thanks so much for your post, that was great!

Great man.... I will always remember him as Archie Bunker (and how similar he is to my grandpa)....
Did you know that Carroll O'Connor's son died of a drug overdose? Did you know that he went to court and got everybody from the sellers to the growers convicted? He ran an anti-drug campaign with a series of commercials... He did alot more than sit in his chair at 704 Hauser Street.

Joona is the type who is Anti U.S. simply because it makes him feel better about his country.
I have lived in Finland for over 17 years. I still hate this country. If there wasn't so many things that I'm part of, I would move to Canada IMMEDIATELY. Three years ago I was already leaving. But I decided to stay two days before I was supposed to go.
Don't you start telling me I feel good about or that I like Finland.

Sad to see him go.
His adopted son did not die of an overdose. He died from a 9MM brain hemorage. The suicide was drug induced and O'Conner went on his personal crusade which landed him a slander suit brought on but the man he accused of selling Hugh the drugs he was on.
It took the jury about half an hour to unanimously aquit him, which was great!
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.
