Any of the new rappers who earn obscene amounts of money for simply having to speak over a few beats - IMO it doesn't constitute music. And their obsession with bling and girls infuriates me - not one seems o have made a video without either a land rover with massive rims, or several bikini clad girls gyrating (or both).
So 50cent, Snoop Dogg etc...

I'd have to go with Celene Dion, or the hypocritical Lee Greenwood.
Hell, I'd like to put a mike in Ann Coulter's hand, which would make her every bit as much a "musician" as Ashlee Simpson or Britney Spears, then wax her chickenhawk ass.

I'm not going to list and rappers, since they aren't musicians. Calling them that is an insult to all true musicians out there. Besides them, I guess I would have to go with Ashlee Simpson and Aaron Carter, too teeny-bop no-talent dopes with no right to go anywhere near a stage. The fact that they have no talent and got to where they are because of family irritates me even more.

how about all those damn "goth" rock bands like Pantera. It's just a lot of screaming and yelling thats about it. Any other bands that apply to this genre can also be included.
But for a single musician I'd have to say Barbar Streisand. She's a terrible singer plus shes a friend of Rosie's so that makes her even worse.

In that case, hard-core goth and satan-worshipper rock should go with that. Since all they do is yell into the mic and nobody knows what the hell they are saying.

Quoting Usairwys757 (Reply 4): Snoop Dogg was around during the days of real rap, where they actually made music and the beats they sing to.
So to group Snoop Dogg with the "new" rappers is really unfair.
Real Rap??? Snoop was not around for the Sugar Hill Gang, Fat Boys, Run DMC, Kool Moe Dee, Boogie Down Productions, Blondie's Rapture etc etc...
As for me, I would give the death sentence to Bob Dylan. Me and some friends drove up to New York to see Springsteens final show in 03 at Shea Stadium and that sorry ass non singing bastard had the nerve to come on stage and blab off songs in lyrics only he could understand.

Quoting StevenUhl777 (Reply 20): Against my better judgement, please enlighten me to what this oh-so-valuable phrase in ebonics means to the rest of us...
1) It's hardly "Ebonics" as you put it, as much as slang much the way 'Cool,' was once.
2) "Fo Shizzle" would mean "For sure."

It would be the producer that thinks we want to listen to the same boring crap for the last 5 years. It all sounds the same! Jessica Britney Avril Ryan or whoever. There are so many and they do sound the same! I remember the days when something refreshing would come along, it would burn out and something else refreshing would come along.
