I'd have to say YES!!
41 years after its initial 1960 release, "Psycho" can still send chills down your spine.
Who could forget the "shower" scene, or when we discover "Mother" in the cellar at film's end!!
I love the eerie scene when Marion (Janet Leigh) first sets eyes on Norman's "Bates Motel". That is a very creeeeepy scene, needing no music or dialogue......just the car, the rain, the sound of the windshield wipers, our heroine, and the innocent-looking (so she thinks) motel. It makes you want to yell to Janet: "For God's Sake....Drive On!! Don't you realize Norman and "Mother" are waiting for you!!??"
Let's see a show of hands (or mouses) ...... Who among you has NEVER once seen this awesome flick?
Among the remaining 99.895671 per cent of you that have seen it ....... I'd like to hear your personal reviews of the film regarded by many to be the best of Alfred Hitchcock's directing career.
Rate it for me (on a 4-star system).
And: What are your favorite parts in the movie?
Some Classic Psycho Lines ........................
Norman: "Mother, m-m-my Mother....what is the phrase.....she's not quite herself today." (My favorite line!!)
Sheriff: "Now wait a minute Sam. Are you sure you saw an old woman?" Sam: "YES....In the house behind the motel! I called and pounded but she just ignored me!" Sheriff: "Well if the woman up there is Mrs. Bates.....then who is that buried out in Greenlawn Cemetery?"
Mother: "NO....I TELL YOU NO!! I'll not have you bringing in strange young girls for supper! By candlelight I suppose! In the cheap erotic fashion of young men with cheap erotic minds! And then what....after supper? Music? Whispers? ...... Go tell her, boy, you'll not be feeding her ugly appetite with MY food....or my son! Or do I have to do it, because you don't have the guts?! Huh, you got the guts, boy?!" ... Norman: "SHUT UP...SHUT UP!"

Well, I'm sorry if it makes you feel I'm mad if I don't like same films with you. There's nothing I can do about it. And why can't you simplu believe I DO NOT like it. It's boring and that's it. Theres' nothing exciting about Psycho.
