Just had this link sent to me Nostradamus site
It has references to many recent events. Is it true that He could predict the Future or is it just the way we look at Events after they have occured.
I remember having a thread on this topic before too.

Please, anyone with a quill pen and some hallucinogenic mushrooms could write quatrains so obscure they can be bludgeoned into fitting just about historical event AFTER the fact. But I've yet to hear of any event that was actually PREDICTED by Nostradamus in such a way that unfolding events could actually be foretold using his brand of tosh.

If you want to hear a heap of unrealistic predictions just hang around with my friends for a night.  Wink

I say false. If you make thousands and thousands of vague predicitions that could happen anytime in the future, a small percentage of those predicitons are likely to become true.

Only 942 actually.

If you want vague, pointless ramblings, you need look no further than this forum.

If you want dubious predictions, I'd recommend the Civil Aviation forum.

I've always believed your ancient mind was full of crap yes. In reality, you're probably related to Nostradamus.

All he did was put out a TON of predictions and some very generalized....and by COINCIDENCE some have been true........I think he predicted the end of the world was going to be in the year 2000 and well we are still here soooooooo somebody screwed up!.....I'm not sure about that but my cousin is really into this guy and studies a lot about him and he told about that prediction. I think he just philosophed and guessed about many things and has gotten lucky about some events from what I hear.......overall, FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, well, apparently he can type. Maybe he'll find the ranting here therapeutic and we'll all get to see him back to his chipper self.

True or false, it does us no good if we can only figure out wtf he's talking about after the fact. Personally I think it's hoo-hah.
