Women Who Churn Out Babies Like Production Line

Does it annoy you when some women continually churn-out babies like a production line? That per se is not necessarily that bad, but when they are unemployed - normally, it would seem, out of desire to be unemployed - and taking money off hard-working tax-payers, it annoys me. If they have to rely on state hand-outs to survive as they are, why on earth are they having even more children - even more mouths to feed, children to clothes, and so forth? It is backward, illogical and absurd. I will tell you why: so they get even more money. It is a vicious circle.

Sorry, I have been watching depressive TV tonight: firstly, binge drinking; secondly, being very poor in Birmingham; thirdly, and lastly, drug addiction. Welcome to Welsh TV.  Silly

There was that judge who imposed a sentence on a woman where she was to have surgery so she could not have any more kids, instead of a conventional sentence. Unfortunately, this judge is the one who was just shot by that crazy guy who took the woman hostage.  Sad

Absolutely. Sew it up. If you want to pay for it, by all means go ahead. If you're taking a handout, no way. Any masons around who may want to pitch in?

Todays world has many problems. Part of whats causing this is there are so many people in our world its slowly starting to get a little crowded and people are grumpy. One kid: good for you! Two kid: yeah thats cool. Three kid: Not really hurting anyone. Four or more kid: ok, you've done yer part its time to save some resources for other people. I hate it when our government hands out money to people who can't afford to bring up their kids on their own.

If you can't support them don't have them. If you do have more mouths than you can feed too bad for you, you shoulda thought of that before you had them.

Problem in the USA and some other countries is that one can claim religion as well as a range of civil rights of any infringement to have sex, including being foreced to be sterilized or use birth control. That's right, in the USA you cannot infringe on the right to bear arms (guns) or babies...

It always takes two to tango. Why don´t squeeze the dad for maintenance and child support until it hurts? It is often the guys who insist of having sex without protection.
If you you want to f'ck you´ve got to be willing to pay for the consequences. If necessary by forced labour.

The people I referred to are unemployed - both parents.

Myth.

Women dislike as much as men.
I do agree that the man is responsible to. Too many women see men as a winning lottery ticket and that's not right either.

Have 1 kid, have 100, I don't care. BUT be able to provide for them!! Why is that such a difficult concept for people to understand????

I hate the argument that it is my right to have as many as I want and it is up to the state to support them if I can't.

I'm glad you said that... because women can't 'make' a kid alone, it takes a man--scratch that.... a MALE to also make that possible. Men across the globe esp. the younger crowd will SAY and PROMISE just about anything to get into a set of panties. And when the bad news comes along they high-tail it out of Dodge. Because many women fall for it and think 'this is the guy...' and it 'the guy' suddenly disappears... thank goodness for access to safe abortion procedures. Because there are a lot of loser cads running around out there... contributing to this very problem.

Well, yes, the woman requires sperm, but not necessarily a man with her - think sperm donors. So technically a woman who wants another baby could get sperm that way and conceive because of that.

James, I remember seeing a French documentary on India some time ago. The filmmaker went to some backward village and asked a desperately poor woman why she had a dozen children if she couldn't afford to even feed herself. "Because we don't have TV" was the response!

Aloges,

Yes, I mean force the guy to work, even if it is shit work (picking up thrash in public parks etc.), and take everything above basic welfare level from him to pay for his kid. I´ve got a kid and kept to my obligations. I pay a sizable amount every month and have absolutely no sympathy for people who shirk on their obligations.
And the mother, once the kid reaches a certain age, has to go to work too.
Then, on the other hand, make contraceptives available for free to welfare recipients (works here).

What would the woman be doing? Getting all broody and excited for Mr Poor Git to return home? Looking after the spotty, smelly, foul-mouthed Git Junior, aka JPG?

Need a good kick up the backside.

Oi! I have you know - not like you need to be told - that students are the people who SHAPE and FURTHER society, not layabouts who can't be arsed to get off their backsides and get work and contribute to society. Students normally get a very bad deal - EVERYONE'S fees should be paid and ALL students should get money (grants) which they don't have to pay back. Our society is backward: give the layabouts loads of cash and ignore the people who make a difference in society.  Silly  Silly I know it's not realistic - only have a limited amount of money - but still: the idea is good.

Weren't you from the generation of grants?

I only had my tuition fees paid, but I have to pay back my loans. I also had/have to pay for my postgrad courses. Hardly good. Ah well.

Tee Hee - thought that'd get a reaction Big grin

Seriously it took me five years to pay of my MA loan - partly because the cost of moving to London and the huge cost of paying rent and living expenses ate into my monthly salary big time - so I do know where you are coming from.

also the price of pot noodles has gone up somewhat from my student days (so I'm told) which must make life tough Big grin

Anyway, quit whinging -you get cheaper beer than the rest of us, and in my day as a student  old  we didn't have all those low cost airline thingys that you young loafers can use to skive off lectures and seminars to go disappearing off to Europe all the time. I was lucky if I could afford the train back to Cornwall at the end of term (no FR STN-NQY in those days  Smile )

Getting back to the topic- where I live is full of Vicky Pollard type mums - I know exactly what you're getting at.

While these layabout fools get their benefits, child support, etc., etc. Backward I tell you!

It seems to work very well.  Wink

To be honest it pisses me off that the people who most want to reproduce and push out as many anklebiters as they can are also the same people who think naively that having kids will make a relationship work, and make themselves feel good about themselves and their lives. Then they drop out of the education system at the first sign of fertility, have ridiculous 'Jerry Springer' type lives bludge off everyone else, blindly parrot off what they learn from their peers and are about as thick as pig shit in molasses. Really they aren't ensuring survival of the next generation, they are diluting the strength of human gene pool with their stupid genes.

It should be survival of the fittest/strongest/intelligent, not the ignorant/uneducated/mentally feeble. While I agree that it is every human's right to raise as many children as they can SUCCESSFULLY manage (with the emphasis on successfully) it is unnecessary to put more humans on the face of the earth than the two they are succeeding in the previous generation. That is unless you are accounting for a high mortality rate as they did in earlier periods of history - (well that and the fact children were a cheap alternative to Turkey at Christmas....sorry just had to work that Blackadder line into the conversation).

The sole reason for having large families is no longer an issue, because of medical advancements. We no longer lose as many as we technically should, and if we aren't going to let people die, then I think we have to work from the other end of the scale and stop them from living in the first place by encouraging contraception/sterilisation and the benefits of only replacing generations, or not having kids at all.
Otherwise We are just putting ourselves into a hole. An Entirely appropriate analogy given the actions involved in reproduction.... Wink
