Hi Everyone -

This post may not generate one single reply because I am sure no one cares but that is OK. I have been reading this forum with great interest for a couple of years now.

I feel like I know some of you just from reading everyday.

My brother signed me up as a B-day present after learning that I enjoy reading the threads so much. Thx Bro!

My first question - When is Northwest going to replace all those DC-9's?

Just Kidding - I am looking forward to joining the discussions.....

Welcome to A-Net Mark.

Now strap in and hold on - the ride can get pretty rough occasionally, particularly in Non-Av . . .

Regards!

Seems like this should go in the Site Related or Non Aviation... but congrats anyways. Make sure you keep that seatbelt buckled, now that you can post, things will get bumpy at times, trust me!!!

You should have started with "when is the 388 gonna fly"? Its much more current. We somehow already know when and in what sequence the NW DC9 are being retired.... I knwo how you feel about feeling like you know everybody... We are one huge family of airline geeks!
Welcome aboard LoveDFW!!

Hey!

Hope you don't know me...if so, I guess that's cool...NEVER do what I did in the Non-Av, a long time ago.

Just search up the username: IloveBOI

Need I say more?

Welcome aboard!  wave

I joined here a few months ago, after spending almost two years occasionally browsing the site. And as ANCFlyer said, if you choose to enter non-av, be careful. It's dangerous in there.  Wink

Tommorow!

Nah just joking! Welcome to A.net. I was lucky enough to join earlier this month too. I think my stress levels have been significantly reduced now that I can actually reply to some of the things I read in these forums!

All the best.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to burst LoveDFW's happy bubble by making him suffer the indignity of having the thread he started sent to the abyss known as the "site related" forum...

This post might be moved or even deleted, as it does not bring anything into the forum, but the welcome is honest and heartly!

Oh, and if you tend to celebrate every 10th post, you will soon be in the headlines of airwhiners... Wink

Enjoy the forums, we are not as nice as we appear here, but hey... that's life... Wink

After reading the first post in reply, I was saying to my-self how surprised I was that nobody flamed you for the NW comment or the wrong forum. Sure enough, the second reply did it. Some people are really out of touch and have flat sences of humor too. The other 99% of the time you can really find some funny $hit! Welcome!!!

Hadn't thought of that, 408 and going strong! Yay! Hurray!

(Balloons fall, party blowers sound, and I get ready to be flamed.)

LoveDFW, welcome to a.net, I look forward to seeing your future posts. Also, don't start any A vs. B threads with your post as the thread starter, I did that my second post and it was rightfully deleted.
