don't feel like going through the archives to find the link, but FLAIRPORT's thread was legendary.

I think it was titled, "My Friend is Flying FLL-ATL Tonight" but it was basically his requests for girl-advice. And boy, did he need it.

Just type in "innuendo" in the Non-Av Archives search and check out the various "XXXXXX and as much innuendo as you want part X" threads. Those are classics, especially the lame attempts at humor by Arsenal@LHR, the "stalking" of KROC by Matt D, and so on.......

That was my first involvement in a seriously silly thread - got me hooked, I'm afraid. We need to do those more often - better than panegyrics (sp?) to the Pope, at any rate !

Ah for me the most ultra neato super duper double secret mega titantium elite funny non-av momment would have to be ...

Yes you guessed it... ILS's famous BMW (with interior by KIA) post, ah yes I remember it well, the DSC issue, the interior by KIA (I must admit I have to I amquite happy to say I am the one who found out that the interior shot he posted of his "BMW" was in fact a KIA.

I do miss posts of that nature and in fact I wonder why people are so honest about their autos today and avoid creating duplicate user names while using the same ISP net range (ah ILS never learned)  faint

Ooh, nice one! Is that the sound of Kirkie scuttling off to find a dictionary that I hear? Big grin

(And yes, you did spell it correctly)

Thank you - the spell checker couldn't find it (clearly a publicly educated spell-checker, tsk tsk !)

Flairport's gem was the funniest one I've seen. When your 17 and that clueless about the opposite sex, you've got problems. Flairport, just don't get accused of stalking this one. It could end you up in an interrogation room at the Broward County police station.
