Everyday I am on this sight I see that certain members group together and talk more and on the other end some seem hate each other. Once and for all we should reveal who hates each other and who groups together like a band of brothers! Who do you think?

Well, I don't hate anyone on here, and I don't 'group' with anyone, I'll talk to anyone.

I certainly don't hate anyone here, but I certainly like to have a good heated discussion once in a while.  Smile

I may seem to hate some people here, but I still would have a drink with any one here at the end of the day.

How can you "hate" someone you don't even know?

After a few rounds of debate of any myriad of issues, it's apparent as to who is left, right, center on what issues, but I couldn't possibly form an opinion of "hate" based on an internet discussion.

That said, there are a few of the A-Netters with whom I'd rather converse - a simple look at the profile and the Respected User list will tell that tale. But it takes all personalities and interests to make an interesting site.

I'll talk to anyone, although there are people I seem to gel with more than others. However, this is simply a forum and I don't really know anyone well enough to either hate, clique or whatever with.

Having said that, there are one or two that I would consider somewhat opinionated and overly cocky but hey, it takes all sorts.

some people enjoy communicating outside of these posts, while others prefer anonymity as things we have said have bitten us in the ass, HARD, in real life when people "demand" our sources when we post "non-public" information.

I've taken out my AOL Instant Messanger and dropped out of a group involving a.netters out of fear of this... not that I enjoyed my random and sometimes wierd conversations with anutters on aol and yahoo!, but sometimes one has to maintain a distance...

I thought my involvement with this "click" of a-net'ers was interesting, it just wasn't for me...

In terms of enemies, there will always be hardliners out there...

I certainly don't hate anyone here. I have disagreements with some, but that's where it ends. I'm here to have fun, and often learn something new from several as well. The day I stop having fun and enjoying it will be my last day on a-net.

Children are ..... people are people...

You can't have 1000+ people sharing ideas without conflicts.

I like the conflict when it's educational:

UserA: Boeing is great because:
Fact1
Fact2
Fact3

UserB: Airbus is great because:
Fact1
Fact2
Fact3

But when it's personal:

User1: Uncle Hal's Aircraft is great because:
Fact1
Fact2
Fact3
User2: User1 you are a moron! You don't know Fact 1 from fact 3, you sleep with small furry animals...your a son of a motherless goat..

It's VERY disturbing...

BN747 is on . . . ummmm, "vacation".

He's possessive of the tendency to go off the edge with very little provocation and incapable of maintaining a conversation that is not laced with personal attacks. There's no loss in his "temporary absence".

I don't know about cliques here on Anet....but if there is one I'd like to join as long as there are club field trips to spot at The Cheetah...

There are certainly some personalities who make themselves felt over these threads. I am very amused by some people who I am certain are lions on the threads and would probably be infant cats in person when face to face.

These are some very interesting and fun forums and there is something for every kind of airplane geek.

No. I am too busy tracking my long-wished-for-girlfriend's plane. Her flight, a 767, originated in Salt Lake City and is going into Newark before it goes to Ft. Lauderdale. I just told her best friend on AIM she'll probably be about 3 hours later.

Oh sorry, Harry, sir, I just couldn't resist writing something about Flairport.

But just for you, Harry, she is flying Southwest. Just like your prom date.

Like, cheers.

While admittedly the Flairport comment was going after a bright, but limited audience who will appreciate it....I am surprised you would have forgotten entirely about the gal who told you she flew a Southwest wide body from Salt Lake to Newark, since you only. posted. an. entire. thread. about. it.

You'll do great at a Liberal Arts university like LeHigh.
